Quilts of Color: Three Generations of Quilters in an Afro-Texan Family

Based on the Texas Folklife Resources 1999 exhibition Quilts of Color, this curriculum guide provides basic information about the tradition of quilting in the African-American community. The guide includes a fieldwork activity designed for junior high and high schoool students, crafts project for younger students and resources for information about quilting.
