Keyun Dickson earned the distinction of becoming the first Zydeco winner of The Big Squeeze in 2010. Dickson hails from Humble, Texas in the greater Houston area. His mother and grandmother were instrumental in his early taking to the accordion at the age of 3. When he was 12, he formed Keyun and the Zydeco Masters. He performs all over the Houston and East Texas regions with his band. He took over the duties of booking Sunday night zydeco jams at Houston club, The Big Easy, when his mentor Mary Thomas (sister of the late Clifton Chenier) stepped down from the role. Website
